MSI introduced a new notebook PC from its classic series, the 14-inch CX410. It is powered by AMD Vision platform rather than the usual Intel hardware and has a dual-core AMD Athlon II. A 512MB Mobility Radeon HD 545v handles graphics processing relatively easily for the 1366×768 screen.
A six-cell battery is standard, contributing to the system’s 4.9lb weight. Other standard fare includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 0.3-megapixel camera and an HDMI output. Hard drive choices include 250GB, 320GB or 500GB units, though which operating system is preloaded hasn’t been revealed; Windows 7 is most likely. Pricing or a release date for the CX410 remain unknown at this stage.
