The Gateway EC14D07u thin and light notebook is now available for purchase from B&H. The retailer is selling the device for $629.99.The Gateway EC14D is a CULV powered notebook with an 11.6 inch display. Its claim to fame is the 8x SuperMulti DVD burner it sports inside its not so slim chassis. Needless to say, the EC14D is slightly heavier than similar sized notebooks and weighs around 3.6 pounds. Still this machine is lighter than most 14 and 15 inch notebooks.
